An increasing number of training programmes are Seafood Training Academy Recognised. To find out what that means click here.

 

Seafish grant funding may be available to suppport you and your employees wishing to take a Seafish certificated training course. To find out more click here. Grant funding can be worth up to £1,000 per seafood business.

Advanced Seafood Quality Assessment

The purpose of the course is to train seafood Quality Managers and similar individuals in quality assessment to the point where they can deliver their own training, set up their own company based quality teams and even develop new quality scales for use 'in - house' to assess new species.

The course lasts five days. The current Course programme is available here

The five day course would cost in the region of £500 per person. Seafish funding is available towards the cost of these courses. For details and conditions follow this link to the Seafish B2B site. Funding ranges from £50 to £250 for qualifying employees and employers.
