Food and drink manufacturing is the largest UK manufacturing sector, the only growing manufacturing sector, and second in the world in terms of global productivity. It is vital to the sustainability of the UK economy.

The Food and Drink National Skills Academy will play a central part in maintaining and improving this position now and in the future, by providing a platform for delivering the skills that the industry truly needs.
