The Grimsby Institute of Further &
Higher Education
A recognised centre of food manufacturing excellence, GIFHE
provides the Seafood Training Academy with an excellent partner
to deliver a wide range of training provision specifically
for the seafood sectors.
GIFHE works with many seafood companies, complementing delivery
of training programmes with co-ordinated support and consultancy
services. These are delivered by an experienced team of ex-factory
and business people, who use their experiences to support
future development and implementation of company programmes.
Training is focused to meet the business needs and contains
substantial information for employees, employers and decision
makers in industry.
Utilising our extensive training facilities at the Humber
Seafood Institute and our Nuns Corner campus, professional
support is available to meet business needs.

Nationally and internationally recognised personnel currently
work to provide support with first class assistance and advice,
on the most up-to-date practices and legal requirements within
the sector and offers consultancy services over a wide range

with latest freezing technologies and NPD Kitchens and Taste
